Radtouren OPR – personally experienced
Hello, I’m Harald. Radtouren OPR grew out of my enjoyment of cycling and of the region around Neuruppin. I want to show you roads, places and landscapes as I experience them myself – directly from the bicycle.
Free of charge. No login. No registration.
You can use all Radtouren OPR content and features free of charge. You do not need a user account, and there is no need to log in or register. Voluntary support is not a requirement for using the site.
I experience every route myself
I have personally ridden every route you find on Radtouren OPR. My recommendations are based on my own impressions and experience. I want to show you what makes a route special and what you may want to look out for along the way.
How the routes are created
- Ride and discover: I ride the route myself and check the paths, junctions and possible starting points.
- Look closely: Along the way, I collect information about viewpoints, rest areas, places to stop for refreshments and interesting sights.
- Recording the experience: The descriptions on this website are created from photographs, observations and practical tips.
Not planned from behind a desk
A line on a map does not tell you how a road feels to ride or where it is worth taking a break. That is why my route suggestions are based on experiencing the area firsthand. I then prepare the information at my desk to help you on your own ride.
Roads and conditions can change. Please pay attention to current signage and local conditions while riding.
Around Neuruppin and through the Ruppiner Schweiz
Lakes, forests, small villages and quiet roads: there is plenty to discover around Neuruppin and in the Ruppiner Schweiz. I am interested in well-known destinations as well as inconspicuous places along the way. This combination is what makes the region special to me.
GPS coordinates and a way to your destination
You will find GPS coordinates for places and map points. The digital feeder service helps you reach a place or point – for example from Neuruppin West station. It provides route guidance for your own ride.
GPX files and GPX downloads are not offered here.
Discover, view and listen to the region
In the Radtouren section, you will find routes and practical tips. The Bilderbuch presents impressions in photographs, while the Videobuch adds movement. In the Podcast you can also discover the region by listening.
Why I do this
I enjoy travelling by bicycle and want to share my enthusiasm for this region. If my experience helps you find a beautiful route or discover a new favourite place, Radtouren OPR has achieved its purpose.
